We started April with the passing of Grandpa Jolley.
We quickly moved right into Easter with the egg hunt in the snow -- though in this picture it looks like the snow has been trampled away.
The next week was crazy with school activities -- two whole year autobiography projects due for middle school kids and a physics fair Rube Goldberg machine finished, transported and displayed. We were also very busy finding pictures, arranging and practicing music, and a couple of really long, hard days with the viewing and funeral.

The next week Janecca started softball. We didn't know when we could celebrate her birthday, so we squeezed in a surprise party.
Kids met at Park Discovery with Morgan while I brought Janecca over. We then moved over to the CMS grounds for kite flying. It was a perfect day to fly kites. The grounds were way too big to get all the kites in the picture, but it was a fun sight to see 12 pink kites way up in the air.

You are a busy mom, and you have really cute kids!
What a busy month for you guys! It's awesome to see Alex's prom pictures. I love the pink! What fun kite flying for Janecca's birthday! I'll have to remember that one.
