Then they get shown! The kids all got blues for showmanship and for their lambs this year. Janecca's placed first in its weight class, and Kaleb's was third in the same class. Alex's and Morgan's both placed high in their classes. Morgan's won 3rd overall(out of 201)in the ultrasound contest!

Congratulations! I love attending the fair and seeing the animals.
It looks like you are a master slick-shearer. Also, congratulations to the children on their sheep. Mitchell is starting to be more intrigued by animals, so I should have come up when ya'll were gettin' the sheep gussied up. Maybe next year eh?
Congratulations to all the kids! You described the process so simply. I know better--having watched parts of washing and shearing before. How 'bout I send my kids up for you to teach them how to work?
